Reset Password

Change & Create a New Password

Have you forgotten your password in GEMS Self Service?  It is now possible to reset your GEMS Self-Service password online through the NetID system.

To do so:

1. Go to http://netid.usf.edu/ in your web browser, and click the "Login for more options" link.

2. Log in using your NetID and password, the same as you would use for Blackboard. (See below if you do not know your NetID or password.)

3. Once you are logged in, click the "Change your GEMS Self-Service Password" link to set a new GEMS password. After you have successfully set a new password, a prompt indicating "Password Changed Successfully!" will appear on the screen.

4. Go to the GEMS login page and log in using your employee ID and your newly set password. Direct sign-in links are provided below:(if the ON Campus link doesn't work for you, try the OFF Campus link, it generally works from anywhere.)

If you are not sure what your NetID is or the NetID password is, you can reset that on the same page. Go to http://netid.usf.edu/ , then click on the "Reset your USF NetID password" link and follow the on-screen instructions.  After completing the reset process, you should see the "Change your GEMS Self-Service Password" link on the screen.
